Services: Pond Restoration/Management

TCS undertook a large pond restoration project. The pond had been neglected for many years and the landowner requested major improvements to provide a quality habitat for both wildlife and angling environments

Work included the removal of 30 feet of overhanging trees around the pond and the removal of sunken snags. The thinning of vegetation created light in marginal areas to encourage invertebrates, amphibious creatures and natural fauna.

Marginal and floating plants were introduced to encourage fauna for bees and butterflies etc.

TCS continue with aftercare each year with a yearly improvement action plan.
